Boundless vaporizer - CF & CFX | A dark horse of vapes!
Bursting onto the scene this year has been the Boundless CF Vaporizer and the Boundless CFX Vaporizer, from the Boundless Vaporizer collection. These two Vapes have been making monumental strides in the Vaping market as they aim to target the higher end units with their extremely competitive price point. What we are going to take a look at today is whether or not the Boundless CF and CFX Vapes are fighting above their weight or whether they are legitimate competitors on the portable dry herb Vaporizer market. These Vapes have been advertised as 100% convection vaporizers however many first time users have pointed out that this is not the case and the Vapes are to be treated as conduction based units, just something to keep in mind going forward with this review.
Boundless CF and Boundless CFX Features
Seeing as these Vaporizers are very, very similar, we will be condensing them into one review when looking at their similar features and traits. Both of these vaporizers offer almost identical performance levels and their functions are also extremely similar. We will be making a point to show you how these two vaporizers differ since there are some unique features and traits from one vape to the next. Both of these Vaporizers have an ultra-fast heat up time. Both can reach their desired temperature within 20 seconds and both vapes come equipped with a substantial loading chambers.
Both of the Boundless Vaporizer come with a very handy rotating mouthpiece which can turn around and swivel out for use anf then be placed back when you are finished vaping. The two Boundless vapes are held in by a turn locking system that makes it accessible to all users and is extremely easy to open and close. Both of these quality vaporizers come in a soft touch material, similar to what you would find on a phone case or a laptop, and adds in extra grip so you wont be dropping these anytime soon.
The Boundless CFX Portable Vaporizer
The Boundless CFX Vaporizer has a built-in individual temperature adjustment system that allows the user to dictate the temperature between the ranges of 100F - 430F (38C-220C). The CFX Vape also comes equipped with a superb OLED display that is extremely accessible for all users and adds a nice touch of style to the unit. The OLED display allows you to keep on top of how long your session has been lasting with the timer displaying in seconds and there is also a battery icon which allows you to see how much charge is left in the battery.
The Boundless CFX Vape will vibrate when the desired operating temperature has been reached which is a handy tool to let you know when its time to get to work! The CFX Vape also comes equipped with a magnet located on the top mouthpiece which is used to hold it in place when you are using it and also when loading the vaporizer, a really useful and convenient feature which may get overlooked.
The Boundless CF Portable Vaporizer
The Boundless CF Vape comes with 5 preset temperature settings which range from 355F up to 415F. These preset temperatures prove to be more than enough to provide a seriously good vaping experience. The CF Vape lacks the vibration feature found on the CFX Vape although it does feature LEDs lighting systems which appear next to the temperature settings, they then blink when the Vape is heating up and become solid when the desired vaping temperature has been reached.
Pros and Cons of the Boundless CF/CFX Vaporizers
Pros to the Boundless Vapes:
- Ultra-fast heat up time means no waiting around
- Substantial battery life means for longer sessions
- An isolated vapor path ensures great quality flavour
- Oven holdings are quite large and have a big capacity which leads to top notch efficiency
- Charging these Vapes is super easy with micro USB compatibility
Cons to the Boundless Vapes :
- These Vaporizers are not full convection vapes. Not the biggest con in the world, but certainly something to remember.
- No way of telling the remaining battery life on the CF Vaporizer
Are the Boundless Vaporizers worth it?
The differences in these two great Vaporizers are few and far between. The best way of thinking about it is that the Boundless CFX Vape is the more premium option to the CF Vape which is the more simplistic version. Very similar to the Storz and Bickel approach with their Mighty and Crafty Vaporizers. The CFX Vaporizer is definitely aimed towards the Vape enthusiasts out there and those consumers who appreciate the more high end products. In comparison, the CF Vaporizer is a much more simplistic piece but still allows you to achieve the same quality vapor but for much less money.
All in all these are two fantastic dry herb portable Vaporizers that come at one of the best price points. We have a feeling that you're going to be hearing a lot more regarding the Boundless Vaporizers in the not too distant future.
