So you got yourself a Pax Vaporizer, now what? Well it’s quite simple actually - to keep your Pax Vaporizer in pristine condition, we recommend that you clean it regularly to keep your vapor tasting as smooth as the day you first started using your Pax. Like any innovative and tech savvy unit it has lots of little parts; and these parts are very easy to clean and keep right.
The last thing you want is for your favourite vaporizer to not perform to the best of its abilities. Luckily for you though, we here at NamasteVapes New Zealand have got you covered. We have put together a step-by-step guide to cleaning your Pax Vaporizer. Follow these steps and you will have your Pax Vaporizer for many years to come.
What you will need:
You need to get some essentials together. Here is the list of things you will need to give your Pax Vaporizer a good, thorough clean.
I bet you’re asking yourself - how do I know if it’s time to clean my Pax? We recommend that you inspect the mouthpiece to see if there is any build up of resin. If there is, it’s obviously time to clean it. If you feel like your Pax isn’t performing as good as the first day you got it, you guessed it - It’s time to clean it.
STEP 1 - Remove the oven lid and mouthpiece
STEP 2 - Insert a pipe cleaner from the top of the unit to the bottom, this will get rid of any residue built up in the vapor path.
NOTE: The oven screen will pop out of the bottom of the Pax. Fear not - this is supposed to happen.
STEP 3 - Get the mouthpiece, concentrate pad (Pax 3 only) and oven screen and place these in a cup with some diluted alcohol solution (mix water and alcohol together)
STEP 4 - Leave these parts to soak for around 30 minutes or less. Then remove the parts and let them dry on a towel.
STEP 5 - Get your Cotton buds and dip them into some rubbing alcohol. Start swabbing the inside to remove built up residue.
Namaste Tip: We highly recommend holding your Pax upside down, this stops any moisture getting inside your device - this can be potentially detrimental to your Pax.
STEP 6 - Reassemble your Pax, and BOOM - Your Pax is like new! You can now enjoy your smooth, tasty vapor once again. To get the most out of your deep clean, we suggest turning your Pax back on to the highest heat setting and let it run through a few heat cycles until the scent of alcohol is gone.
Just like that, your Pax is good to go. For best results, as we previously mentioned, you should clean your Pax Vaporizer once a week if you're a regular user. If you use it occasionally, once every so often should do the trick!
